One benefit of working with your Optimize practitioners is having access to support via messaging between appointments. In order to have the most valuable and safe experience possible, here are guidelines that you can reference to know when to send a message to your Optimize doctor.
It is encouraged to message your practitioner if:
● You have any clarification questions regarding an appointment, treatment protocol, supplement dosage, testing instructions, or anything similar.
● You have questions about the status of your test results.
● You need a prescription refilled, or have questions about prescription interactions/safety.
● You are unsure when to schedule an appointment.
Your practitioner will likely recommend an appointment if:
● You have questions about your symptoms - new, worsening, or ongoing.
● You have questions about new treatment options that you are interested in learning more about.
● You have questions that your Optimize doctor cannot safely answer via messaging without first conducting an evaluation of your health history, chart, and/or test results.
● You would like to share an update on your health status (e.g., what’s working, what’s not working, how you feel) and receive feedback.
If you are uncertain whether to message your Optimize practitioner or schedule an appointment, you can always reach out to the Optimize care and administrative staff for support. They can be reached via email at hello@optimizehealth.health.
In the case of a medical emergency, you should always call 911 or go to a local emergency room instead of messaging your Optimize practitioner.
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation so we can best serve you during your care with us!
